Sinopsis
Oliver heredará una gran fortuna de su rico tío Bernal, con la condición de que esté felizmente casado. Pero cuando la Sra. Hardy se va justo antes de que el tío Bernal venga de visita, Stanley se ve obligado a cumplir su deber (y arrastrarse) para hacerse pasar por la amada esposa de Oliver.
