Stage 2
The 1932 Hal Roach studio datebook, as transcribed on The Lucky Corner for the Our Gang short Forgotten Babies (production G-14), names Stage #2 at Hal E. Roach Studios in Culver City.
It lists the Spanky's house set on Stage #2, with Robert F. McGowan directing, on 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9 December 1932. The same datebook lists 10 December on Stage #3, not Stage #2.
That datebook entry does not give the dimensions of Stage 2.
The Lucky Corner, using Hal Roach studio documents for Our Gang production K-14, states that the opening segment of The Pigskin Palooka, showing Alfalfa at school, was shot on Stage 2. Gordon Douglas directed the short, which was filmed from 18 to 25 September 1937. The call sheet for 18 September scheduled the interior of Alfalfa's room on Stage 2 together with the railroad station at Palms.
For Came The Brawn (production K-19), also directed by Gordon Douglas and filmed from 21 to 25 February 1938, The Lucky Corner reports that almost the entire film was shot on Stage 4. The exception is one process shot, taken on Stage 2 on 25 February 1938.
Night 'N' Gales (production K-11), directed by Gordon Douglas and filmed from 22 to 30 June 1937, used Stage 2 for most of its sets, according to The Lucky Corner's reading of the call sheets. On 25 June 1937 all of the day's activity was on the interior bedroom set and the interior upper hall set, both on Stage 2. Those notes also record a conflict over the living room: one document places it on Stage 1 and another on Stage 2.

The studio lot, at 8822 Washington Boulevard in Culver City, California, United States, was built in 1920, at which time Rolin was renamed to Hal E. Roach Studios.
